Cookie Policy
Last updated: 26 October 2026
This policy explains how Flatdot Marketing uses cookies and similar technologies on https://flat.marketing, what each one does and how you can control them.
Who we are
https://flat.marketing is run by Flatdot Marketing Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11844213). Our studio is at Studio E, 49 Jamaica Street, Liverpool, L1 0AH.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They help the site work, remember your choices and show the site owner how people use it. Similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, work in the same way, and this policy covers them too.
Some cookies are set by us (first-party cookies). Others are set by the services we use, such as HubSpot (third-party cookies).
How we use cookies
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), we only use cookies that are strictly necessary without asking you first. These keep the site secure and remember your cookie choices.
Everything else waits until you say yes. When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and you can change your mind at any time.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies keep the website secure and working. They can’t be switched off, but they don’t track you for marketing.
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| cookieyes-consent | CookieYes | Remembers your cookie choices so we don’t ask on every page | 1 year |
| apbct_* (for example apbct_timestamp) | CleanTalk | Protects our forms from spam bots | End of session |
| ct_* (for example ct_checkjs, ct_timezone) | CleanTalk | Checks basic browser signals to tell people from spam bots | End of session |
| ct_sfw_pass_key, ct_sfw_ip_wl | CleanTalk | Lets genuine visitors past our spam firewall | 1 month |
| __cf_bm | HubSpot (via Cloudflare) | Protects HubSpot services from bots | 30 minutes |
| __cfruid, __cfuvid | HubSpot (via Cloudflare) | Limits the rate of requests to protect HubSpot services | End of session |
Analytics cookies
These cookies show us how people find and use our website, so we can improve it. We only set them if you accept analytics cookies.
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| __hstc | HubSpot | Tracks visits over time, including when you first and last visited | 6 months |
| hubspotutk | HubSpot | Recognises your browser, and links your visits to your details if you fill in one of our forms | 6 months |
| __hssc | HubSpot | Counts the pages you view in a session | 30 minutes |
| __hssrc | HubSpot | Works out whether you’ve restarted your browser | End of session |
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells visitors apart, so we can count how many people use the site | 2 years |
| ga[ID] | Google Analytics | Keeps track of your current session | 2 years |
If you fill in a form on our website, HubSpot can link your earlier visits to the details you give us. We use this to understand which pages helped you get in touch. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle that information.
Advertising cookies
We don’t currently use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If that changes, we’ll update this policy and ask for your consent first.
Content from other websites
Some pages include content from other services, such as our Google reviews (shown through Trustindex), HubSpot forms and embedded videos. These services may set their own cookies when their content loads. Their own cookie and privacy policies apply.
How to manage cookies
On our website: use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page to change your choices at any time.
In your browser: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop some parts of the site from working, such as our forms. Find out how in:
Google Analytics: you can opt out across all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
To learn more about cookies and your rights, see the Information Commissioner’s Office guidance.
Changes to this policy
We review this policy whenever we add or remove a tool that uses cookies. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
