Andy Flatman is co-founder and Strategy & Delivery Lead at Flatdot Marketing, the Liverpool agency he helped start in 2019.
He studied Business Studies with Marketing at Liverpool John Moores University, graduating with a 2:1, then started his career on a graduate placement there before joining Ph.Creative, working across sales, account management and strategy consultancy. Big-agency life showed him how often great client relationships fell apart once work went into delivery. Flatdot was built to fix that.
Today Andy leads the strategy and delivery of every client campaign. He specialises in SEO strategy, technical SEO, website set-up and AI Optimisation, mostly for manufacturing, software and B2B businesses. The first thing he checks on any new website is how readable it is, for people and for AI. His commercial background means every task faces the same test: will it generate a return?
Right now he’s focused on what influences AI search results and how AI SEO differs from traditional SEO. He attended SEO IRL 2025 in Toronto to stay ahead of it.
His belief is simple: a genuine brand with real expertise will win in the long run. Every time.
Andy is Google and HubSpot certified and lives on the Wirral. Outside work you’ll find him cycling, at the gym, on the golf course or walking the dog. He’s a VW Transporter fan, always has a DIY project on the go and used to compete in bodybuilding.
